[From the AAID] The mission of this course is to provide a comprehensive didactic and clinical curriculum leading to a full understanding of NIRISAB. (Natural Implants Restored in Stable Alveolar Bone).

Sessions will include:

  • An applied head and neck anatomy dissection related to Implant Dentistry

  • Training in oral and intravenous sedation techniques

  • An intensive learning experience with repetitive training concepts similar to a hospital training program.

  • Lectures, Laboratory exercises, surgical demonstrations, and supervised hands-on surgical sessions used to develop skills for each procedure.

  • Closed circuit T.V. coverage of live procedures relayed into the main lecture room to enable all participants to observe and participate in surgical sessions close-up.

  • Opportunity to bring your own patients and perform surgical procedures under the mentor's close supervision.

Session 1:  January 12 - 16, 2026 – Introduction of Oral Implantology and Essential Principles for Procedural Intravenous Conscious Sedation (Dr. Becker and Dr. Shufflebarger)

Session 2:  February 20 - 23, 2026 – Basic Surgical and Digital Restorative Techniques, and Phlebotomy 

Session 3:  March 20 - 23, 2026 – Implant Placement and Soft Tissue Management

Session 4:  April 17 - 20, 2026 – Maxillary Sinus Augmentation Techniques 

Session 5:  May 15 - 18, 2026 – Orofacial Applied Anatomy Related to Oral Implantology

Session 6:  June 12 - 15, 2026 – Principles of Bone Grafting and PRF

Session 7:  July 10 - 13, 2026 – Digital Implant Relation to Non-Root Forms and Extra-Maxillary Implants

Session 8:  August 14 - 17, 2026 – Advanced Surgical and Prosthetic Cases

Session 9:  September 14 - 18, 2026- Graduation Week and ACLS.
